A Flush of Style

This project was a fantastic opportunity to create a complete, cohesive look for a client’s newly remodelled bathroom. The client approached us wanting a range of items to complement their new sink basin, and we were able to provide a full suite of custom pieces.

Crafted from reclaimed wood, each item—from the toilet roll holder and towel rail to the mirror and window board—was stained to their desired colour. This allowed us to perfectly match their existing decor and create a truly bespoke, unified feel throughout the space. This is a great example of how small custom details can bring a whole room together.

Taking a Custom Approach

Bespoke Shelves

Taking a Custom Approach

This custom-built shelving was a unique commission for a client who had a specific vision they couldn’t find elsewhere. We worked with them to tweak the design of shelves they had seen, creating a made-to-order piece that perfectly suited their style.

The shelves themselves were brought to life with a custom-mixed stain, ensuring the color was a perfect match for the client’s home. The steel brackets were specially fabricated for this design, with the metalwork carefully painted to blend seamlessly with their existing decor. This project is a great example of how a custom approach can turn an idea into a beautiful and perfectly tailored reality.

Shelving the Idea of Waste

Shelving the Idea of Waste

This set of individual shelves was a custom commission for a client looking to add a rustic feel to their space. The shelves were crafted from chunky rejected scaffold boards, specifically those deemed unsuitable for their original purpose, giving them a new life and a rich character.

To match the customer’s vision, the timber was carefully tinted to their desired colour and finished with rustic steel brackets, which we were proud to source from another small business. The result is a set of made-to-measure shelves that are both beautiful and a great example of sustainable craftsmanship.

A New Chapter for Old Pine

This one-of-a-kind wall cabinet was a custom commission for a client in London. They loved the design of a metal cabinet they had seen, but wanted a warmer material to complement their kitchen. Every detail was carefully planned with the client to create a functional and beautiful cabinet that perfectly suits their home.

bespoke natural memorial bench

From Little Acorns Grow Mighty Oaks

Creating a memorial piece is a deeply personal process, and it was a true honour to be trusted with this commission. This unique bench was crafted for a very special reason: to honour the memory of a beloved family member and friend at Nutley Hall, alongside a beautiful nature pond.

Made from locally sourced waste oak, this bench embodies our commitment to sustainability. We took great care to keep the wood’s natural, rustic character, ensuring it feels as though it grew right from the earth it now rests on. Our goal was to create a piece that was not only substantial and built to last but also comfortable and inviting.

Working closely with the client, we were able to bring their vision to life, including a custom inscription along the backrest. This thoughtful detail invites all who pass by to sit for a moment, reflect, and appreciate the surrounding nature—just as the person it honours would have wanted. It’s a peaceful and lasting tribute, a perfect spot for quiet contemplation and cherished memories.

From Sawmill Scraps to Garden Gem

Bespoke Oak Garden Bench

From Sawmill Scraps to Garden Gem

This gorgeous oak bench is a perfect example. A client saw one of our existing cross-leg bench designs and fell in love with its rustic charm, but they needed a specific size and a material that could handle the elements. So we set out to create a unique piece just for them.

Using locally sourced waste oak from a nearby sawmill, we crafted a bench that’s not only incredibly durable but also gives new life to wood that would otherwise be discarded. Oak is a fantastic choice for outdoor furniture, naturally resisting rot and insects. To give it an extra layer of protection, we sealed it with a natural, weather-resistant finish to guard against UV rays and moisture, ensuring it will withstand the test of time and weather beautifully.

The result is a custom-made bench that fits perfectly in their garden, offering a sturdy and stylish spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the outdoors for years to come.
